Customer Service Representative (CSR) Product Documentation Tool & Internal Communications Management System CLIENT CIBC, BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS GROUP (Note: This project was done by a founder before starting Giant Step) Visit The Site HIGHLIGHTS * Developed a database system for CIBC * Tracks corporate communication updates * Used for cibc.com, pcfinancial.ca and other sites * Multiple access levels for management and staff * Generates reports for senior management ABOUT THE PROJECT The Business Communications group manages most internal and external communications for CIBC, including cibc.com, pcfinancial.ca, internal newsletters and more. The group needed a way to keep track of all of the communication updates made to these entities with various editorial and management views. A custom networked database system was developed to support the Business Communications group. The system allows the group to track all on-going communication updates, includes multiple access levels for management and staff, and generates reports for viewing by the senior management of CIBC.

Online Registration For Classes CLIENT RAPID RESULTS TUITION INSTITUTE LAUNCHED 2004 Visit The Site HIGHLIGHTS * Online course scheduling and registration * Training Insurance and Investment Advisors * Custom CMS for course scheduling * Course registration transaction processing ABOUT THE PROJECT Rapid Results Institute specializes in assisting life insurance companies and brokers in meeting their agents' licensing objectives rapidly and cost-effectively. The Rapid Results programs are approved by the Canadian Securities Institute, and prepare students for the Level II Insurance Licensing Examination. An HTML web site was already made, but required HTML knowledge to update the online course schedule. Also, an online registration form was needed to take student applications. Giant Step integrated the online scheduling system into the site, allowing administrators to add courses to the list without any knowledge of HTML. We also customized the online registration system, including a Credit Card transaction system, allowing students to fully register online.
