The Worth Collection, Ltd., established in 1991, is a luxury line of designer women’s apparel. With sales over $100 million per year, apparel is sold through a network of agencies and independent sales agents who sell directly to end customers. Sales Associates include professional image makers with end customers consisting mostly of high net worth individuals, including US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The Agency Portal & Console is a business-to-business (B2B) sales and order management system. It provides a product catalog, on-line sales transactions, order management, various reporting and search utilities to support the tracking of financials and order fulfillment for both Worth’s staff and Worth’s sales associate network.

The website is used in the following manner:

  1. Sales Agents use the online Agency Portal to manage their contact list, order merchandise on behalf of customers and track their performance (leads, sales, financials, statistics).

  2. Worth staff administer the system using an online Console, that allows managing seasonal product lines and managing the sales network (access to the site, commissions, discounts, company communications, resources, sales support + tracking / reporting)

  3. The system allows tracking of quotes, order fulfillment, shipping, and final sales by agency, per agent and directly through Worth staff.

The main goal of the system is to improve, streamline and speed-up the sales cycle by making it easier to enter and track sales leads, orders and fulfillment. The system also provide more transparency within the company (especially for shipping and fulfillment) and allow for Worth to be able to communicate more effectively with the sales network.

Using Keyora Inc.'s Webfoot 8.0 eCommerce engine, Social Dynamics Interactive (SDI) and Giant Step designed and implemented the new online system. Intergration with Worth's existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system was conducted in collaboration with Crowe Chizek, one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the United States. Using Microsoft Dynamics AX, our team integrated and site and Webfoot with the existing product inventory, warehousing, shipping, financial and accounting systems, and provided interfaces to help all parties manage this complex sales cycle.

In achieving the goals of the system, Worth is now able to process more sales per year, grow the sales network and expand the product line offering to more products and products of higher value. The system, in practice, is a catalyst for meaningful growth for the company.
