CMN Inc. was established in 1985 as an agency with a vision of providing uniquely integrated marketing solutions to companies, primarily in the technology field. The uniqueness - CMN's S*T*A*R* (R) Methodology. This action-oriented, results-driven approach to strategic marketing has proven over the years, and with several major clients, to be a very effective tool in creating and implementing successful marketing and public relations campaigns.

CMN has evolved the S*T*A*R* Planning system through numerous client interactions to a point where the system is in the process of being turned into a standardized industrial process, which includes books, seminars, proprietary software and videos that teach how the system works.

When asked by Microsoft Canada "How would you advertise us?", CMN's response was "We don't know how or even if you should advertise  - that's not how we do business. How we do business is we first build a plan based on what we call a 'Chicken test'. "Have you heard of the Chicken Test? It's an interesting story..."

- the Chicken test refers to what Boeing used to do to test new plane engines. They would shoot a deceased bird out of a cannon straight at the engine to see if birds would stop it in mid-flight. In marketing terms, this is called "Sample Market Testing" - something many companies do not do nearly enough of before spending big budgets on the wrong target market, the wrong product, place, price and so on. In the past, a "Chicken test" could have saved billions of marketing dollars that were simply wasted away on bad ideas.

Giant Step is excited to work with CMN in developing an Online Social Network of Creative Marketers and packaging the S*T*A*R* Planning Methodology curriculum for new marketing executives.

The New Media Broadcast Corporation is an integrated concept Online Content Agrregator / Artist & Repretoire (A&R) agency. We are building a unique online channel that will encompase the likes of television, radio, print distribution on an Internet and Mobile delivery platform. In doing so, we also market artists and their content over the network. Currently under development, NMBC.tv is planned to fully launch in the near future.
