Clean Freak Patrol Partners with A-Channel Road Crew
TORONTO, ON, June 18, 2007 — Clean Freak Patrol has partnered with the A-Channel Road Crew to help spread the word – not the germs, promoting good hand hygiene in Ontario communities. This summer, from June 22 to August 12, the Road Crew will be visiting nearly 30 great events all over Barrie, Newmarket, Simcoe and Muskoka, taking part of the action and handing out samples of the new, non-alcohol, Clean Freak Patrol Kid’s Hand Sanitizer.
In collaboration with The Creative Marketing Network (www.starcmn.com) and Toronto Agency Giant Step (www.giantstep.ca), the unique new concept makes hand washing fun for kids through Combat, Missy, Karate and Princess Fairy – four lovable cartoon characters who teach kids the importance of washing hands through fun games and activities at www.CleanFreakPatrol.com. The new products, available exclusively at Shoppers Drug Mart (www.shoppersdrugmart.ca) nation-wide, allow kids to wash their hands when there is no water around.
Television promotional inclusions will also air on the A-Channel, directing viewers to the entertaining children’s website www.CleanFreakPatrol.com – for a television preview visit www.cleanfreakpatrol.com/videos/achannel
Starting this weekend, the Road Crew will be traveling to the KingFest Music Festival. KingFest is poised to become one of Ontario’s major 3-day outdoor music festivals and tourist attractions. Featuring the best in rock, blues, roots, country and pop, Kingfest will entertain all ages with non-stop music all weekend in the most serene outdoor setting (June 22 – 23, 13990 Dufferin Street, King City, www.kingfestmusic.com).
Other Road Crew events this weekend include the Children’s Aboriginal Festival in Collingwood (June 23, www.town.collingwood.on.ca/visiting_events.cfm?itemid=2018), Rotary Fishing in Barrie (June 24, Heritage Park Shoreline, Barrie, www.teachakidtofish.com) and the All Truck Nationals (June 24, Burls Creek, www.burlscreek.com/content.xjp?id=59).
