From fair trade coffee to organic produce and recycling, TheBubble.ca columnists cover the range of alternative living options. The magazine is sponsored by various organizations, including the Canadian Auto Workers, Canadian Organic Growers, Mountain Equipment Coop and the Sierra Club of Canada. The magazine founders needed an online platform that will allow them to easily publish articles on an on-going basis. Giant Step developed an article engine that allows TheBubble to easily upload and catalog articles online. With spacious development studios and expert industry producers, the BOLA Group delivers hassle-free professional photo shoots and great pictures. Representing commercial photographers requires putting their work online for client reviews. An original site already existed with a distinctive design using Flash, but the owners needed an automated system to easily update the site, both text and images. Our solution was an Easy Site Updating tool for the Flash site. First we created an Administration Login page, where producers can enter a secure section of the site. Written for students by students, THE DISH is all about high school and teenage life. In the summer of 2005, Giant Step was asked to develop the online strategy and deployment for THE DISH. At the time the paper had a circulation of 22,000 printed copies going to all 100+ Toronto high schools every month.
