Mobile Service Campaign
TORONTO, ON, August 20, 2005 — Mobile Miser Inc. has selected Giant Step to develop a viral interactive campaign to launch a new mobile long-distance service.
As the landline is quickly becoming extinct, the service is designed to make it comfortable and affordable for cell phone users to use their mobile for long-distance conversations, free from the stress of exorbitant long distance carriers and the inconvenience of calling cards.
In collaboration with award-winning art director Ronnie Napoleon Periera, Giant Step will be working on the creative, marketing and the interactive components of the campaign. “We are very excited about this new service” says Gil Katz, managing partner of Giant Step, “with all of the telephone service plans in existence today, the pressure is on to develop interesting new campaigns that will gain attention in the marketplace. This is the type of creative marketing challenge our team loves to work on.”
Led by co-founder of the Lavalife online dating network, the service is expected to launch early 2006.
